Inside Marion Flea Market there was a small community of people who had a spot that they would personalize with different product that was offered for sale. It was like taking a step back in time. You could find just about anything you wanted.
That was until December 24, 2019. The Flea Market closed the doors after more than 30 years in business. We had a booth and opened an online shop that has been under construction ever since. I continued to keep my .com hosted by shopify although most of my selling was online via reseller communities. Mercari, Etsy E-Bay & Poshmark were the most commonly used platforms I listed items for sale. Today the internet has changed dramatically since starting the shop in 2019.
As a reseller I continued the journey to learn as much as I could online while staying consistent on the platforms and set the site on the backburner. There is so much opportunity online when you are looking to for ways to make money or earn an extra income. It can be overwhelming and make you give up before you even begin.
Others continue to follow the trends and jump from one shiny object to another.
I can tell you from experience that staying consistent with what you are doing will pay off as you begin to grow one day at a time. You will learn from your mistakes and find new ways to create and grow your business or side hustle online and in your community.
